Kelly Knebel Designs is a boutique interior design shop that services clients primarily in the Metropolitan, DC area but has also done work up and down the east coast in Manhattan, Kiawah, Hilton Head and the Eastern Shore.

Kelly listens to her clients and helps them establish their own style while making sure that everything is properly integrated from one space to the next.  She finds ways to use their existing pieces and supplements them with new choices that provide a layered and refined look that appears as if has happened over time.  She wants spaces to be warm, timeless, exciting and to represent the lifestyle of each of her clients.

Kelly also understands the construction process and works with her husband’s company and other builders helping her clients with furniture planning and the entire specification selection process.  She works hard to take this typically overwhelming process and make it fun.  Builders love working with Kelly based on her wide-reaching understanding of the process, attention to detail and sensitivity to schedules and budgets.

Being a mother of three and being married to a builder Kelly has always been on the move, literally.  She has had the pleasure of designing several personal residences and participating on her husband’s development projects over the years.  She draws from these experiences and incorporates the successful design concepts and features into her projects.
